Navid Fashami (born 1982) is an Iranian composer and filmmaker. He began his artistic journey as a teenager through songwriting, and later pursued a degree in film directing, developing a practice at the intersection of sound and image—with a particular focus on poetic, experimental, and essayistic forms.

Between 2014 and 2016, he directed over 70 short documentaries for Arte (France/Germany), covering a wide range of cultural topics. He has also made several independent short and experimental films that have been screened at international festivals. In 2010, he participated as a film composer in Berlinale Talents.

His film music spans a broad spectrum of fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema. His work has been featured at prestigious festivals such as Locarno and Toronto, and his soundtracks have been released on global platforms. His new project, Teaching Daydreaming, is a poetic essay film currently in the script development stage.

نوید فشامی (متولد ۱۳۶۱) آهنگساز و فیلم‌ساز ایرانی است. فعالیت هنری‌اش را از نوجوانی با ترانه‌سرایی آغاز کرد و سپس با تحصیل در رشته‌ی کارگردانی سینما، مسیر خود را در تقاطع صدا و تصویر دنبال کرد — با تمرکز ویژه بر فرم‌های شاعرانه، تجربی و جستاری

بین سال‌های ۱۳۹۳ تا ۱۳۹۵، بیش از ۷۰ قسمت مستند کوتاه برای کانال آرته فرانسه/آلمان کارگردانی کرد که به موضوعات فرهنگی متنوعی می‌پرداختند. همچنین چند فیلم کوتاه و تجربی مستقل ساخته که در جشنواره‌های بین‌المللی به نمایش درآمده‌اند. در سال ۲۰۱۰ به‌عنوان آهنگساز فیلم در کمپ استعدادهای برلیناله شرکت داشت

موسیقی فیلم‌های او طیف گسترده‌ای از سینمای داستانی، مستند و تجربی را در بر می‌گیرد. آثارش در جشنواره‌های معتبر جهانی مثل لوکارنو و تورنتو حضور داشته‌اند و موسیقی‌هایش روی پلتفرم‌های جهانی منتشر شده‌اند. پروژه‌ی جدید او، تدریس خیالبافی، یک فیلم جستاری شاعرانه است که اکنون در مرحله‌ی نگارش فیلمنامه قرار دارد
